Garam Masala Powder is made by blending the spices into coarse powder which is used in north indian and south indian cuisines. Everytime i prepare this powder before hand and store it for 1-2 months.

Coriander Seeds |
1 Cup

Cinnamon |
3 Tbsps(8 - 1" sticks)

Green Cardamoms (Elachi) |
3 Tbsps
|
Cloves |
3 Tbsps
|
Process:
- Take a wide pan and roast the above ingredients one by one.
- Stir until they turn into light brown color.
- Let them cool and do not peel the cardamoms. The skin itself gives a nice flavor.
- Grind them together into a fine powder in mixi or a coffee grinder.
- Store in a air tight container.
Nice flavorful powder, everybody has their own version rt..
