Prawns Fry | Royyala Vepudu is a delicious fry which i learnt from my mom and can be done for special occasions like parties, potlocks, etc. In the last I add fresh coconut paste for an extra flavor.

Coconut pieces (fresh/frozen) |

- Heat oil in a pan, then add elachi, cloves, cinnamon sticks and fry for a sec. Then add chopped onions and chopped green chillies.
- Fry them until golden brown color. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a min.
- Add turmeric, corriander pwd, red chilli pwd & salt. Mix and fry for a min.
- Add prawns & mix well. Cover and cook until prawns are cooked and water from prawns are evaporated.
- Meanwhile grind the coconut pieces using little water into coconut paste (Dont make it very fine paste).
- Add the coconut paste to the cooked prawns and fry for 10-15 min until the raw smell of coconut is gone.
- Add garam masala and fry for a min.
- Garnish with corriander leaves & serve with any rice dish .
