Dry Fruits and Nuts laddoo | Dry Fruits and Nuts laddu is very healthy for woman after delivery. Laddoo is prepared with urad dal, almonds, walnuts, cashews, raisins and anjeer. Have this laddoo a day in the morning with a glass of milk. Its also very healthy and good for children.

1 Cup

Walnuts |
½ Cup

Cashews |
½ Cup

Raisins |
½ Cup

Anjeer (Figs) |
½ Cup
|
Sugar |
1 Cup
|
Cardamom pwd |
1 Tsp
|
Ghee |
As needed
|
- Fry urad dal on low heat until golden brown color. Stir continuously until 20-25 min. Keep aside until it cools completely.
- Now fry all the nuts & dry fruits separately one by one in ghee.
- Heat a tbsp of ghee in a pan & fry almonds, then fry walnuts, fry cashews, raisins and lastly anjeer on low-med flame. Let them cool completely.
- Grind the sugar into fine powder in a mixi and keep it aside.
- Grind the urad dal into fine powder using a mixi or a food processor and take it into a wide bowl.
- Then grind the nuts into fine powder using a mixi. Then grind the raisins & anjeer into fine paste.
- Lastly grind the nuts powder and dry fruits paste together into powder.
- Now mix all the powders with sugar in a wide bowl. Add the cardamom pwd.(Nuts pwd, Dry fruits pwd, Sugar pwd & the urad dal pwd)
- Add the melted ghee little by little until you can mold them in the form of a laddoo.
- Store these laddoo's at room temperature in an airtight container.
