Aloo Methi curry is a nice combination with chapatis / poris . Aloo(Potato) is everyone’s favorite and by adding methi leaves the curry turns out to be healthy too.

Methi Leaves (chopped) (Fenugreek leaves) |
1 Small bunch

Red chilli pwd |
1 Tsp

Garam masala pwd |
¼ Tsp
|
Turmeric |
⅛ Tsp
|
Coriander leaves |
For Garnishing
|
Water |
As Required
|
Salt |
To Taste
|
For Seasoning:
Dried Red chillies |

Cumin seeds (Jeera) |

Curry Leaves |

Process:
- Heat oil in a pan and do the seasoning.
- Fry the chopped onions and green chillies until golden brown in color.
- Add the chopped tomatoes & turmeric. Cover and cook until they are soft.
- Then add the chopped potatoes, red chilli pwd, garam masala, salt & nearly 1-2 cups of water.
- Mix well. Cover the pan & cook for 10 min on a medium flame.
- Then open the lid and add chopped methi leaves. Cover and cook for another 5 min .
- Switch off the stove and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with Chapatis/Pooris.
