One of my favorite snack during evenings especially during the rainy and winter seasons. It is one of the popular indian street snack that is prepared with the batter of besan and rice flour with very less water. This time i added spinach to the onions. It turned out very tasty and crispy.

Onions (thinly sliced)

2 Big

Spinach (chopped))
|
½ Bunch
|
Green chilles (finally chopped)
|
5-6
|
Besan
|
1 Cup
|
Rice flour
|
1/4 Cup
|
Oil
|
2 Tsp
|
Baking powder
|
A Pinch
|
Curry Leaves
|
Few
|
Salt
|
To Taste
|
Oil
|
For Deep Frying
|
Process:
- In a bowl, add slices onions, green chilles, little salt. Mix & combine well with fingers. Keep a side for 10 min.
- Now add besan, rice flour, baking powder, curry leaves, chopped spinach, 2 tsps oil and mix well with hand.
- If it is too dry then add 2 tbsp water to it and mix well.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan on med flame. Drop the batter into the oil using fingers little by little.
- Fry them until golden brown color.
- Remove them after frying on to an absorbent paper.
- Serve as an evening snack with garam chai (hot tea).
